BOXING DAY FLYER_2020 Come and enjoy our traditional Boxing Day dance on the day after Christmas. This year we will be keeping good healthy distance while we enjoy seeing our friends, enjoying the music from Jeff Spero and Kira Ott, and Contra Dancing to the calling of Jacqui Grennan. Our online portal will open at 3:45 PM on Saturday December 26 for anyone who would like to meet and socialize with friends whom you might not have seen in a while. The dancing will begin at about 4:00. Jacqui has become a master of bringing the joy and movement of our traditional dance on line. If you haven’t yet tried Contra Dancing in your home, together with online friends, you are in for a treat- connecting again with the rhythm, movement, and music of Contra Dance. Dancing will be from 4pm to 5:30 with a break in the middle for more socializing and a look at photos from past Boxing Day dances. As we always say, invite your family and friends! This way we can meet safely online to dance and socialize. If you’ve never Zoomed before, give this a try, you just might like it!
